Glenbard North High School, in partnership with the Family & Consumer Science Department, offers two (fall and spring semesters) ten-week sessions in the teaching and training preschool program for a limited number of pre-K students. The program is an opportunity for our high school students who are interested in early childhood education to work alongside early childhood educators and provide a unique experience for families in the community. Glenbard North students have the opportunity to earn class credit in Child Development courses as part of this immersive experience.
This program is for three, four and five-year-old (pre-kindergarten) children. Children must be potty trained. Session length and fees vary each year. Space is limited to 15 children.
